Darcy

Darcy (she/her) started dancing when she was 8 years old at South Lane Ballet Academy and has stuck with it ever since. Throughout her career she has studied tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, modern, and contemporary. Her main style focus in highschool was jazz, but she has recently been connecting more with contemporary dance.

Darcy graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 2021 and immediately started her full time study of dance. Darcy is currently getting her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Dance at the University of Oregon and is so thankful for the community she has been able to find here in Eugene. She has a strong interest in teaching and choreographing. Darcy hopes to help shift the dance industry into a safer, more accepting place.

After graduating from UO in 2025, she hopes to continue to teach and choreograph. Her dream is to move to the east coast and eventually start her own dance company that is accepting of all people. She is so thankful for the opportunity to teach in her hometown, and she can’t wait to continue to grow as a teacher and person in the upcoming years.
